Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
LUCD is a trading name of IV3 Health Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 818925), with its registered office at Unit 7B, Castletroy Park, Castletroy, Limerick, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@drinklucd.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you give it to us through the launch updates form or at checkout. We also note which of the two forms you used and when you signed up.
- Your cart, which is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it is still there when you come back. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type, which our website host receives automatically when your browser loads the site.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not take payment details on this site.
How we use it, and why we are allowed to
- To email you about LUCD: when it is available, when new stock arrives, and occasional news about the product. We only do this because you asked us to by signing up, so the legal basis is your consent.
- To run the website securely, remember your cart and understand how the site is used. This is necessary to provide the site you asked to use, and is in our legitimate interest in keeping it working and safe.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing hello@drinklucd.com. We will stop emailing you straight away.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers who help us run the site:
- Supabase, which stores our email list in a secure database.
- Our website hosting provider, which serves the site to your browser.
- The email service we use to send you updates, once we start sending them.
These providers only use your data to provide their service to us. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If LUCD does not go on sale, we will delete the list.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct it, or to delete it
- ask us to limit how we use it, or object to us using it
- receive it in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw your consent at any time
To use any of these rights, email hello@drinklucd.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. We would appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our company details.
